Meet Maria — The Heart Behind MIRootsCreations

Hi, I’m Maria — the face, hands, and heart behind MIRootsCreations.

What began in March 2021 at the corner of my dining room table, armed with a Cricut and a dream, has grown into an established, woman-owned creative studio rooted in intention, craftsmanship, and connection. Today, MIRootsCreations proudly serves customers across every U.S. state and beyond, creating pieces that are as meaningful as they are usable.

At the core of my work is a love for custom creation. I specialize in custom tumblers and personalized gifts designed to reflect personal stories, celebrate meaningful moments, and fit real life. From ready-to-ship designs to fully customized pieces, every item is crafted with care, quality, and attention to detail — never rushed, never mass-produced.

Alongside handmade goods, MIRootsCreations has expanded into digital design and creative resources, offering downloadable designs, small-business tools, custom graphics, logos, and QR codes. This evolution allows me to support fellow creatives and entrepreneurs while blending handmade craftsmanship with modern design.

Over the past five years, my work has been featured in multiple online publications highlighting small businesses and creative entrepreneurs — a milestone I’m incredibly proud of, and one that reflects the heart behind everything I create.

Beyond the business, I’m a mom of four, a coffee lover, a writer, and a creative through and through. As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum, advocacy — particularly for autism awareness, mental health, and small businesses — is deeply personal to me and naturally woven into how I show up, create, and connect. I believe creativity should feel approachable, thoughtful, and human.

Creativity has always been my way of telling stories — whether through handmade pieces, thoughtful design, photography, or words on a page. That same storytelling lives within MIRootsReflections, a writing-focused extension of the brand centered on guided journals, reflective books, and personal growth through lived experience.

From custom gifts that mark life’s moments to designs and words that invite reflection, everything I create is connected by the same purpose: to offer something meaningful, grounded, and made with care.
